The Toruń cultural calendar is full of concerts, from organ and chamber music to jazz and pop. Numerous galleries and museums offer a wide selection of temporary exhibitions and talks. Toruń’s old interiors host renowned musical events: ‘Probalitica’ Festival of Music and Art of the Baltic Countries (Festiwal Muzyki i Sztuki Krajów Bałtyckich „Probaltica”), ‘Toruń – Music and Architecture’ festival (‘Toruń – Muzyka i Architektura’) and the St John’s festival of Organ Music (Świętojański Festiwal Organowy).

Each June, young people from all over Poland congregate in Toruń to sing with the world stars of religious music during the Ecumenical Festival ‘Song of Songs’.

Film fans have a choice of the Cinema City multiplex, arthouse cinemas in the Old Town and the July Film and Art Festival ‘The Summer of Films’ (‘Lato Filmów’). Wilam Horzyca Theatre, ‘Baj Pomorski’ Puppet Theatre (with shows for children and adults) and the alternative Teatr Wiczy (Wiczy Theatre) cater to the lovers of drama. Annual theatre events include the International Theatre Festival ‘Kontakt’ and the Festival of Street Events ‘Bulwar’.
