How to confirm my start?

There are three possibilities:

  1. Come to Arena, enter the main entrance and you are in front of the Accreditation. Pick up your competition pack and then go to the left. The Confirmation is next to the Accreditation.
  2. Ask your Team Manager to collect your competition pack and confirm your start.
  3. Confirm yourself online.

How to confirm my start online?

  1. You can confirm your start online only if you got an email or sms with a link from us. Each athlete has a different link! You must not send your link to other athletes. If you do, others can change your confirmation!
  2. Click the link you got from us which starts with: https://wmaci2023.domtel-sport.pl/c.php
  3. Click enter on the webpage with your token
  4. Check the events you want to confirm and download the confirmation – it’s your only proof that you confirmed the start
  5. If you click “save and download confirmation” you go to a webpage where you have to click DOWNLOAD PDF. If you do, you have the proof on your device. You can print it.
  6. Now you can go here: https://wmaci2023.domtel-sport.pl, choose your event and see the green tick sign after your name.

What events don't require confirmation?

The following events require no confirmation:

  1. 10km Road Race;
  2. 10km Road Race Walk;
  3. cross country;
  4. Half Marathon.

How to use my own poles for pole vault?

  1. Come to pole storage (see the maps in the appendix to the Handbook) before your competition.
  2. Leave your poles there – they will be taken to the competition site by technical staff.
  3. You will be given a ticket (you can hang it with your accreditation card, so as not to lose it). You have to give it in the Call room before your start! You won’t be allowed to take part in a competition without it!
  4. After the competition, your poles will be taken to the storage where you should collect them.
  5. The LOC doesn’t take any responsibility for your poles.

How to rent a pole for pole vault at the Arena?

  1. Come to TIC (3), which is opposite to the accreditation (1) and confirmation area (2) – see the maps in the appendix to the Handbook.
  2. Pay PLN 120 (€ 25) in cash for use of LOC poles.
  3. You’ll get a ticket (you can hang it with your accreditation card, so as not to lose it). You have to give it in the Call room before your start! You won’t be allowed to take part in a competition without it!
  4. During the competition, you can use any LOC pole you want.

Training during the Championships

Arena Toruń

  • Sunday 20:00 – 21:30 after competition at the main indoor competition area and warm-up area
  • Monday 20:45 – 21:30 after competition at the main indoor competition area and warm-up area
  • Tuesday 20:00 – 21:30 after competition at the main indoor competition area and warm-up area

Main Stadium

  • Saturday 10:00-13:00
  • Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday after the competition – 17:00-18:00 – depending on the weather conditions

Throwing Hall

  • Saturday 14:00-16:00
  • Sunday: Shot Put: 16:00 – 18:00, Weight Throw 18:30-20:00 after the competition
  • Monday: Shot Put: and Weight Throw 16:30 – 18:30 after the competition
  • Tuesday: Shot Put: 16:00 – 20:00, Weight Throw 18:00-20:00 after the competition
  • Wednesday: Shot Put: 18:00 – 20:00, Weight Throw 21:00-21:30 after the competition
  • Thursday: Shot Put: 20:00 – 21:00, Weight Throw 19:00-21:00 after the competition

Warm Up for Field Events
There are NO separate warm-up areas for field events. There will be some opportunities for athletes to finalise their warm-up in the competition area.

The gym is available all the time, but not on an exclusive basis.

Where can I park my car?

There parking lots around Arena Toruń and the Main Stadium. All are paid and the prices are as follows:

  • PLN 3 for each hour;
  • PLN 15 for the whole day.

Coins, VISA and Mastercard are accepted by parking meters.

Please don’t leave your cars in places not designated for parking because you can be fined by the Police.
